The so-called 90 Design Icon Model is 17 centimeters long, nine centimeters wide and six centimeters high. It is available in three original colors - Pangea Green, Gondwana Stone and Santorini Black.
Adventurous spirit of the English brand
Massimo Frascella, Land Rover Design Director (gallery, left), says, "Land Rover's adventurous spirit is expressed through the Icon Model's distinctive shape and attention to detail, while its pared-down form gives the design a timeless quality."
The model is limited to a total of 5000 units worldwide and can be ordered from dealers and online. The recommended retail price for the Land Rover Defender 90 Design Icon Model is 65 pounds, the equivalent of just over 80 Swiss francs.
