An anniversary of the small, very fine and above all special kind: "Das Modellauto" in the Factory of the autobau Erlebniswelt in Romanshorn celebrates its 25th anniversary. Markus Frei, owner and recognized connoisseur of precious little things: "From my passion for collecting high-quality handcrafted model cars, I decided at some point to set up a trade. At my place of residence in St. Gallen at that time, showcases were mounted and the models offered for sale were displayed. Customers strolled through the family home from showcase to showcase. The shopping or sales experience was very individual and didn't just end once at the parlor table with a glass of wine."
There is up to 25 percent discount on selected models
This changed abruptly when Markus Frei moved his residence to Salmsach and set up a small store there: "Well over 200 guests came to the opening. Over the years, the premises gradually became too cramped. I had to look around for larger premises. In 2010, it became known that a factory was to be built on the site of the autobau Erlebniswelt Romanshorn. The move to the new 140 square meter store at Egnacherweg 11 took place in May 2011." Business partners, friends and acquaintances are invited to an aperitif on Saturday, August 20 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and Sunday, August 21 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). And: There is a discount of up to 25 percent on selected models.
