Racing driver and event manager Fredy Barth offers trackdays at many racetracks in Europe. However, for some time now he has set up his event base on the Anneau du Rhin in Alsace, close to the border.
With the Formula Experience and the Offroad Experience, it offers sport and fun at affordable prices for all those who want to get around in a way other than their own car. And that's not all by a long shot.
From snow to gravel
Those who like it bumpy and crossways will experience their special fun at the Offroad Experience. After Fredy Barth had used his FunBoosts for years at winter events, this offer means an extension with driving opportunities on gravel roads.
The 130-horsepower, 350-kilogram racing wagons offer an adventurous driving experience on loose surfaces. Alternately, the participants also drive a gravel course with quads.
In the race car on the circuit
At the Formula Experience, small racing cars with 1200cc motorcycle engines are driven on the perfectly asphalted Anneau du Rhin. Quite a few successful racing drivers have continued their careers after karting with cars like these - all the way up to Formula 1.
Beginners are welcome as well as advanced players, as long as they follow the rules of the game.
Now also for individuals
The next event will take place on September 12, 2020, either in the morning or afternoon. This experience can be booked by individuals and as before by smaller groups or companies.
The Offroad Experience costs CHF 590 and the Formula Experience CHF 890. In addition to the provision of the vehicles, both packages include the rental of the equipment, drinks, snacks and a final aperitif for everyone.
The schedule is coordinated so that both event packages can be combined with a discount of 100 Swiss francs - in terms of price, real motorsport can hardly be more attractive. Registration via this Link.
Rental vehicles for trackdays
Another new offer: private individuals can now also rent race cars for trackdays (every Wednesday to Saturday, in the evenings). There are currently five models to choose from: a VW Scirocco Cup, a Seat Leon Supercopa, and a Porsche GT3 RS, Cayman GT4 CS and 911 GT3 Cup. Other vehicles are available on request.
Thanks to this event base in Alsace, owners of racing vehicles can also be offered a parking space directly at the circuit. The rental fee includes track access for one evening event per month. On request, the maintenance of the vehicles is also possible.
