The cover of Zoe Scarlett's 2021 calendar features a replica of a Mako Shark ll concept car - unique in Europe and previously unpublished.
The name Mako Shark says it all. MG designer Bill Mitchell modeled this car on a shark. The fenders and rear end look like a fish's body, the turn signals like gills, and the exhaust is mounted on the side.
Chevrolet mass-produced a Corvette in 1969 with a design based on the Mako Shark, but comparatively more innocuous in appearance.

Zoe Scarlett: "My calendar has been around for more than ten years now, and it's always gratifying for me to see where I hang out through it. In America, Canada, Australia, and of course, Europe."
This year again photographer Dirk Behlau aka Pixeleye has teamed up with Zoe. Despite Corona, he has again managed to produce 13 pictures with cool, legendary American cars, hot rods and customs.
