WinterRAID: Here's to a new one in March

SPRING FEELINGS Because it is hard to estimate until when the number of participants in events in Switzerland, Austria and Italy will be limited to the extent they have been so far, the WinterRAID will be postponed for two months.

The new date falls in the snowiest periods. This uncertainty has led the RAID organization to postpone the traditional classic car rally in winter to March 10-13, 2021. The original date was January 14 to 16, 2021.

Start to the prologue in the border triangle
The optional prologue will thus start on March 10 in St. Margrethen in eastern Switzerland. The actual start of the 18th WinterRAID 2021 will be on March 11 in Seefeld in Tyrol.

The popular summer and winter resort is the same distance from Zurich as the Engadine, which has been the starting region so far. This is followed by two nights in Cortina d'Ampezzo before heading back to the destination in Seefeld.

Application deadline extended to January 31, 2021
According to a spokesperson for the RAID organization, they are confident that they will be able to stick to the new date.

"Everything is prepared for an exciting rally. And the months of February and March have always been the periods with the most reliable snowfall in the Alps and Dolomites in recent years."
