The Mercedes-Benz 300 is the sixth 300 in which Konrad Adenauer was chauffeured.

And they were not empty words, but a wide-ranging program of Daimler-Benz AG, headquartered in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, for decades.

After the Graber exhibition, which lasted a whole year, the Pantheon Basel is showing the special exhibition Mercedes-Benz. The brand claims to be the oldest car manufacturer in the world.

Key models of the brand in focus
From the early Type 10/30 built in 1924, to the 630K 1927, the 290, the 320, the 170, the legendary Type 300 Adenauer and the sporty, lightweight SL series, vehicles from the Stuttgart forge will be on display until spring 2021.

The Pantheon Basel is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The special exhibition lasts until April 18 next year.
