Oldtimer: Trouble with the Tulip Rally in Thurgau

Especially on weekends, clubs like to organize rides. What can the organizers learn from the trouble in the Swiss mountains? Oldtimers are welcome, other road users, spectators and the gastronomy are pleased. The SHVF finds it "a pity that this friendly togetherness is endangered by such a stupid incident". To its credit, the Swiss federation points out that the Tulip Rally was a "wild" rally because it was not registered with FIVA, Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens. FIVA rallies that cross borders, so-called "International (A) Events", must mandatorily engage a FIVA steward. This steward must not be from the same country as the organizer. The FIVA steward also monitors compliance with traffic regulations.
