Concours d'Elégance: Anniversaries without end
THERE MAY BE A CHALLENGE Over 100 cars, some of them rare, will compete in 19 classes in the categories of originality and beauty from June 21 to 23, 2019, on the occasion of the Concours d'Elégance in Coppet. Special recognition will be given to the 125th anniversary of Delahaye, 110th anniversary of Bugatti, 100th anniversary of Bentley, 100th anniversary of Citroën, 100th anniversary of Henri Chapron and 60th anniversary of Mini.
The Concours vehicles are judged separately by two juries. An "Authenticity Jury" evaluates the state of preservation and authenticity, while the "Elegance Jury" looks at style and elegance, also judging the team's clothing.
Saturday and Sunday for the public
On Friday, June 21, the Tour d'Elégance rolls to the start at 9 am. The ride in the surroundings of Coppet goes over 70 kilometers. On Saturday, the evaluation of the cars will take place in the courtyard of the castle of Coppet and on Sunday the prizes will be handed over. Those interested in particularly valuable vehicles can view the cars up close from 12 noon on Saturday and from 10 a.m. on Sunday.
