In addition to the title of "Dealer of the Year", the team from AMAG Mendrisio won a cheque for an employee event worth 10,000 francs. Garage Maurice Montavon SA in Develier was awarded the title of "Customer First Dealer of the Year" with a cheque for 7,000 francs. 1

The Swiss folk-rock group 77 Bombay Street will pay a visit to the TCS stand at the Geneva Motor Show (until March 13 at Palexpo) on Wednesday, March 9. Music, interviews, a photo session and an autograph session are on the program from 14:00 to 15:30. 1

With the new 911 R at the Geneva Motor Show (until March 13 at Palexpo), the Stuttgart-based car manufacturer Porsche is presenting a purist sports car in the classic style: with a 500 hp four-liter naturally aspirated boxer engine and a 6-speed sports manual gearbox, the 911 R is in the tradition of its historic role model. 1

The total production of Subaru all-wheel drive vehicles has reached the mark of over 15 million units. This milestone was achieved in the 44th year of production. Production of the first Subaru all-wheel drive passenger car, the Subaru Leone 4WD Estate Van, began in September 1972. 1

The Polo, Golf, Golf Sportsvan, Golf Variant, Beetle, Beetle Cabriolet, Scirocco and Sharan are available as "ALLSTAR" models. For sporty, dynamic fans of the brand, there are "ALLSTAR" R-Line models. 1

Car racing has a long tradition at Japanese tire manufacturer Yokohama. In Europe, the company is also active in rallying, particularly in France and Italy. A rally commitment in Switzerland has been missing until now. 1

The oldest Swiss exchange, the Oldtimer & Teilemarkt Fribourg, will be the meeting place of the scene on March 19 and 20. More than 400 exhibitors are already registered since the end of 2015.
