Volvo Car Switzerland: Natalie Robyn becomes Managing Director

Natalie Robyn succeeds Dennis Nobelius, who left Volvo Car Switzerland in September 2016 for the position of CEO of Zenuity. Zenuity is a joint venture for autonomous driving between Volvo Cars and Autoliv. Domenico Gaito, the interim Managing Director at Volvo Switzerland, will return to the role of Director Sales. Robyn has worked in the automotive industry for over 13 years and has held various management positions at Daimler/Chrysler, Nissan and Delphi. She joined Volvo Cars in 2015 and as Vice President International Markets and Importers was successfully responsible for several Volvo markets and importers in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Robyn has extensive experience in the various business areas of sales, strategy, planning and supply chain.

"The new Volvo models and services, based on our Scandinavian interpretation of luxury, our electrification strategy and our innovative new technologies such as autonomous driving and connectivity, are tailor-made for the demanding Swiss market," says Natalie Robyn.

Robyn studied International Relations at Colgate University, USA, and holds an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, USA/Switzerland. She is fluent in English, Spanish and French and has a basic knowledge of German. She lived in Switzerland from 2012 to 2014 in her former role as General Manager of Nissan Europe.
