The Austrian vignette prices for 2020 have increased slightly. The new price for the passenger car annual vignette is 91.10 euros (+ 1.90 euros), for two months 27.40 euros (+ 60 cents) and the 10-day sticker now costs 9.40 euros (+ 20 cents).

Motorcyclists will also have to dig deeper into their pockets: The annual vignette now costs 36.20 euros (+ 70 cents), the two-month vignette 13.70 euros (+ 30 cents) and the ten-day vignette 5.40 euros (+ 10 cents).

Exceptions from the vignette obligation
The Austrian National Council recently decided that tolls will no longer be charged on five highway sections. The regulations have already been in force since December 15, 2019. They apply to the following stretches
... Inntalautobahn A12 (between the state border at Kufstein and the junction Kufstein-Süd).
... Westautobahn A1 (between the state border at Walserberg and the junction Salzburg Nord).
... Rheintal/Walgau freeway A14 (between the state border at Hörbranz and the Hohenems junction).
... Linz freeway A26.
... Mühlkreisautobahn A7 (bypass bridge between exit Hafenstrass and Urfahr).
