Without a sticker, there is a threat of severe fines
From February 1, only the new vignettes for 2021 will be recognized. Anyone who cannot show a valid toll sticker or has not affixed it correctly to the windshield will be subject to fines.
It is most expensive in Slovenia, where up to 500 euros can be due. In Austria, such toll violations cost at least 120 euros - tampering with the vignette twice as much. In Switzerland, around 180 euros plus vignette costs are payable.
Higher prices also apply to motorcyclists
Austrian vignette prices have increased slightly for this year. The annual vignette for passenger cars now costs 92.50 euros, for two months 27.80 euros and the 10-day sticker 9.50 euros.
Motorcyclists also have to dig deeper into their pockets: The annual vignette now costs them 36.70 euros, the two-month vignette 13.90 euros and the ten-day vignette 5.50 euros.
In Switzerland, the price remains as usual
Drivers who need an annual vignette for Switzerland will have to pay 38.50 euros. The price reduction of 50 cents is due to the exchange rate; in Switzerland it still costs 40 francs. In Slovenia, prices will remain stable in 2021, with a one-year passenger car toll continuing to cost 110 euros, one month 30 euros and seven days 15 euros.
