Greenhouse gas emissions assessment
Green NCAP has updated its assessment criteria to a Well-to-Wheel+ consideration in 2022. Not only the measured tailpipe emissions (wheel) are taken into account in the evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions, but also the emissions resulting from the extraction, production and distribution of energy (well).

The "+" means that the construction of power plants and refineries is also counted. However, vehicle and battery production are not yet included in the assessment.
