The magazine goes on to say that the speed limit is particularly popular among supporters of the left: 78 percent are in favor.

This is followed by the Greens (74 percent) and SPD (71 percent). The CDU and CSU also have a majority (56 percent). Approval is lowest in the FDP (46 percent) and AfD (18 percent) camps. Three percent made no statement

Survey of over 1000 people
Kantar surveyed a total of 1,017 people between July 16 and 21, 2020. The question was: Are you in favor of or against the introduction of a general speed limit of 130 km/h on highways in Germany?

In many online votes, however, the trend is different, with a clear majority against a rigid limit.
