Vehicles built by Magirus-Deutz are particularly well represented. Especially the fittings should be looked at.

At the largest event of its kind in Switzerland, more than 80 fire engines are expected on the Allmend on both days. Never before have there been so many collector's items on display in one place. Bernd Link, organizer of Swiss Classic World, only regrets that there wasn't room for more: "We could have handled more then."

Vehicles from all known manufacturers
The exhibition management had addressed all fire department associations, clubs and similar organizations throughout Switzerland that are concerned with the preservation of historic vehicles. There are of course Saurer fire engines on display, Magirus exhibits, Mercedes, Dodge or Land Rover, the range extends from transporters and an airfield fire engine for the water march show to emergency vehicles.

Rolls-Royce and Cadillac also as firefighters
Even Rolls-Royces from the 1930s are there, a Cadillac Sedan from 1934, but also the youngsters like Mowag Pikettfahrzeuge and Willys from the 1960s. Tours, a hand-operated fire engine show and much more related to lifesavers await the whole family. For more information, visit the website.
