6d-Temp
For the Euro 6d-Temp emissions standard, "Real Driving Emissions" are measured during driving.

May was the third calendar month in a row in which the number of cars registered for the first time was higher than in the comparable month of 2018. A total of 128,745 new cars have already been registered this year. This means that both markets have finally overcome the WLTP blues.

Euro 6d-Temp emissions standard from fall
For the third calendar month in a row, the number of new registrations exceeded the previous year's figure, which was last achieved between July and September 2015. The WLTP difficulties appear to have been overcome, at least for the time being, even though the next changeover is due in the fall with the introduction of the Euro 6d-Temp emissions standard for all new passenger cars.

Good prospects for the rest of the year
Christoph Wolnik, media spokesman for the importers' association auto-schweiz: "We are very satisfied with the current market development. Before this three-month upward trend, we had to put up with seven calendar months of market decline for which our members were not responsible. This makes the outlook for the rest of the year all the better."
