Land Rover James Bond
With its charity auction in September, Christie's is following up on several successful 007 auctions.

With the auction of several original stunt vehicles from the new 007 cinema film, several Jaguar Land Rover models are contesting ^part of the charity auction that Christie's auction house is holding in September in London and also online.

The occasion is the 60th anniversary of the James Bond films, in which models of the British brands repeatedly play important roles. Two Defender, a Range Rover Sport SVR and a Jaguar XF, among others, will go under the hammer at Christie's.

Defender for 345 000 to 575 000 francs
The auction lots from JLR are led by a Land Rover Defender 110, for which the experts at Christie's expect proceeds of between 300,000 and 500,000 pounds (about 345,000 to 575,000 Swiss francs). The proceeds are to go to the British Red Cross. The Defender 110 up for auction is one of ten vehicles used for the latest Bond flick.

Also going under the hammer at Christie's - for an estimated 200,000 to 300,000 pounds - is the exclusive special edition Land Rover Defender 110 V8 Bond Edition. An etched "60 Years of Bond" logo on the instrument panel cover makes the auction model a one-off. Proceeds from this auction are earmarked for the Tusk Wildlife and Conservation Foundation.

Vehicles, watches, costumes and props
Impressive roles as stunt vehicles were played by a total of six Range Rover Sport SVR. One of these models, which completed a high-speed chase in the movie, is also being auctioned at Christie's.

The fourth representative from the production of JLR is called a Jaguar XF - with estimated proceeds between 50 000 and 70 000 pounds.

The official Christie's auction "Sixty Years of James Bond" comprises a total of 60 lots. On September 28, Christie's and EON Productions will host the auction in front of invited guests - with Defender, Range Rover Sport and Jaguar XF as four of the most important lots. In addition to the stunt vehicles, watches, costumes and props will go under the hammer.
