LA Auto Show: Porsche shows five world premieres 🎥

THERE'S ALWAYS MORE The Stuttgart-based carmaker is driving into the future on three tracks: Alongside emotional gasoline-powered cars and powerful plug-in hybrids, electric drives form the third pillar in the drive strategy.

The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the hottest 718 of all time. Its sound makes you want more.

This diversity is also reflected at the LA Auto Show. Porsche is showing a total of five world premieres there: In addition to the new 718 Cayman GT4 RS as the highlight of the show, 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo as well as the Panamera Platinum Edition will be on display for the first time.

More power and higher torque
The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the hottest 718 of all time. It covered the 20.6-kilometer Nordschleife in 7:04.511 minutes. It is thus 23.6 seconds faster than the 718 Cayman GT4 with PDK. Together with the production version, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport racing variant also made its debut.

At the heart of this sports car designed for maximum driving pleasure is the free-suction six-cylinder boxer engine already familiar from the 911 GT3 Cup race car and the 911 GT3 production model.

The engine generates up to 9000 crankshaft revolutions per minute. Output increases by 80 hp compared with the 718 Cayman GT4. Maximum torque climbs from 430 to 450 Newton meters.

The 718 Cayman GT4 RS can be ordered now at a base price of 176,900 including VAT. Deliveries in Switzerland will begin in March 2022.

Taycan also comes in GTS version
The Stuttgart-based carmaker is showcasing a new drive variant of the Taycan electric sports car between the Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo, as well as a third body version. The Stuttgart-based carmaker is presenting a new variant of its electric sports car under the abbreviation GTS.

With a range of up to 504 kilometers, the sporty model is the first Taycan to crack the 500-kilometer mark.
At the same time, the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo debuts as the third body version. The newcomer shares the sporty silhouette with the roof line of the Cross Turismo, which slopes down toward the rear.

Aerodynamics, performance, driving fun, adrenaline, all-electric; the new Taycan GTS brings them all together.

The Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo start at prices starting at 160,300 and 161,100 Swiss francs respectively (gallery below).

The extended Panamera series will also be on display at the show: Porsche is launching a special series with particularly high-quality equipment as a Platinum Edition (AutoSprintCH reported).
