A basic commercial apprenticeship at a car dealership is lively and varied. Never before has the industry shown such a high degree of professionalization as it does today - and never before has it faced such a major upheaval in terms of mobility solutions. Or to put it another way: never before has training in the automotive industry been as exciting as it is now!

The neural network of the operation Merchants in the automotive trade sector provide important services in the areas of administration, trade, customer service, finance and accounting, and human resources. The requirements for this apprenticeship depend on the chosen profile: Profile B requires completion of elementary school at the intermediate level with good performance in the core subjects. The extended basic education (E profile) requires a completed elementary school at upper school level with good performance in the core subjects. The E profile can additionally be completed with the vocational baccalaureate.

For all profiles, keyboarding is acquired before the apprenticeship. The B and E profiles differ only in the academic area. The practical training in the company and in the inter-company courses is identical for both profiles and the vocational baccalaureate. The school subjects include the standard language, one (B-profile) or two (E-profile) foreign languages, information/communication/administration (IKA) and business and society (WG). A change of profile is possible until the end of the third semester.
