The jury of 70 trade journalists from 31 countries chose the fully electric SUV as the winner in three categories: "Best New Engine," "Best Electric Engine" and "Best Drive between 350 and 450 hp. The I-Pace thus left strong competitors from international rivals behind.
Innovative new drive concept

With the triple victory of the all-electric I-Pace, Jaguar is also ushering in a new era at the EotY Awards, which have been held since 1999 - until now, only an internal combustion engine or a hybrid concept was ever in the lead in the "best new engine" category of the year.
