Kona
The All- New Hyundai Kona used by the St. Gallen Cantonal Police have the police equipment.

The decision was preceded by a selection process in which the All-New Kona electric was the only electric vehicle to meet the applicants' requirements: over 100 kW of power, over 400 kilometers of range and an acquisition cost of less than 50,000 Swiss francs.

Cantonal and political mission
Hanspeter Krüsi, Head of Communications at the St. Gallen Cantonal Police: "By using electric vehicles, we are fulfilling a cantonal and political mandate, primarily to reduce noise and exhaust emissions. However, when I see the progress that this technology has made, there is far more to be said for this acquisition. More than 100 kW of power, more than 400 kilometers of range, space for five people, plenty of cargo space and all the requirements for installing police equipment - these are the arguments and facts with which the model meets our requirements."
