Family Business Award: Deadline by the end of April

Every year, the Family Business Award honors a Swiss family business that distinguishes itself through responsible action and value-oriented, sustainable entrepreneurship.
Memory of company founder Walter Haefner
Since 2012, Amag has endowed the award in memory of company founder Walter Haefner to honor particularly entrepreneurial and sustainable family businesses. The award is intended to promote the values and commitment of family businesses and underline their importance for the Swiss economy.
Family businesses make a decisive contribution to Switzerland's prosperity. Around 90 percent of all companies in Switzerland are family businesses. They create jobs, generate added value and ensure stability in the Swiss economy.
Ten-member jury decides on the winner
The winning company is selected by a ten-member jury consisting of experienced personalities with proven expertise in the field. The jury is chaired by Dr. Karin Lenzlinger, President of the Zurich Chamber of Commerce.
