IT'S BEING EXCITING The Family Business Award honors particularly sustainable and value-oriented companies. This year's finalists have been determined. The winner will be chosen at the award ceremony on September 22 in Bern. So far, the prize has been awarded to Metzler & Co. AG (2020), Wilhelm Schmidlin AG (2019), 1a hunkeler fenster AG & 1a hunkeler holzbau AG (2018), Jucker Farm AG (2017), Fraisa SA (2016), Wyon AG (2015), Entreprises et Domaines Rouvinez (2014), Siga Holding AG (2013) and Trisa AG (2012).
Memory of company founder Walter Haefner
Since 2012, Amag has endowed the Family Business Award in memory of the company's founder Walter Haefner to honor particularly value-oriented and sustainable family businesses.
The award is intended to promote the mindset, values and commitment of family businesses and to underscore their importance for the Swiss economy. Family businesses make a decisive contribution to the high prosperity of our country.
A ten-member jury is responsible for selecting the winning company.
