In its resolution of October 5, 2017, the Zurich City Council had formulated the requirements for the supporting program of the Formula E race and commissioned the e-mobil Züri association with its realization. This supporting program bears the title "edays".

The focus will be on a symposium and student projects in cooperation with ETH Zurich, as well as a startup competition in collaboration with Switzerland Innovation and digitalswitzerland.

Symposium in cooperation with ETH Zurich
The symposium at ETH will focus on topics such as eTechnology (automotive), Digital Cities (mobility and energy management), visions in the field of transportation and urban development. Keynotes with international and renowned speakers such as Dirk Ahlborn (CEO of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies) are expected to provide topics for discussion and debate.

In addition, student projects from ETH Zurich will be presented. The event, which is open to the public, aims to create awareness for sustainable electromobility and energy.

Zurich as a city of innovation
With the support of Switzerland Innovation and digitalswitzerland, a startup competition will also be held. A professional jury will select a short list of young companies that will be invited to the pitch show for investors and interested parties. At the same time, e-mobility can thus be experienced and explored at first hand.
