Classic: Vintage car pleasure trip to Rimini
WHERE TO MEET There are many rallies for classic cars. But there has never been a RAID like this year. The journey leads from Klosters via Verona to the Adriatic Sea. With like-minded people landscape and Italianità are to be enjoyed.
With this year's event, which will take place from September 10 to 13, participants can expect an interesting international classic car rally with a great tradition, prepared down to the last detail.
You experience a sporty ambience, get to know landscapes, places and cities and appreciate the togetherness with like-minded people.
Swiss organization with tradition
The RAID Suisse-Paris has been held without interruption since 1991, and 16 years ago the organization expanded the program to include the RAIDS Winter, and later also the Autumn Drive, the Young Raiders Challenge and the RAID du Sud. Also part of the program is the Concours d'Elégance in Basel, which has been held for 22 years.
Trofeo Volvo open for all categories
In Rimini, a typical Italian city full of art and architecture, the fantastically located, legendary Grand Hotel awaits the RAID participants. The finish line is Piazza Fellini, named after the film director Federico Fellini, who grew up in this city. Rimini also hosts the Mille Miglia and the Gran Premio Nuvolari in this very piazza.
Two nights will be spent in Verona. Those who wish can take part in the Trofeo Volvo, which is independent of the overall classification, on Sunday, September 11. Drivers of all categories can take part in this rally afternoon, there are no additional costs.
