The preparation time thus gained will be used to develop a new exhibition concept that will set contemporary standards in terms of quality, sustainability and protection of exhibitors and visitors.
No protection offered in the first half of 2021
Karl Bieri, organizer and president of the Auto Zürich Car Show: "Despite current restrictions, the organizers' goal is to build on the successes from 2019 with a ten percent increase in spectators and 44 international and Swiss premieres. After thorough examination and extensive consultation with experts, we have come to the conclusion that Auto Zürich cannot take place with the necessary protection over the next six months."
In case of cancellation, bookings are canceled free of charge
Karl Bieri: "Auto Zürich 2021 will be the largest automotive event in Switzerland. This circumstance is an obligation to once again significantly increase the performance of this format in the interests of the exhibitors. If the event cannot take place in direct connection with COVID-19, all bookings will be cancelled free of charge and any deposits already made will be refunded in full."
