Auto Zürich Car Show 2017: Fireworks at Renault

These include the New Renault Megane R.S. as a Swiss premiere, the Alaskan pickup, the entire range of crossover models, the ZOE with 100 percent electric drive, the trendy Twizy, Renault Formula 1 (all in Hall 2) and the Formula E of the Renault e.dams team (Hall 5).
Fresh on the market
A few weeks after its world premiere at the IAA in Frankfurt, Renault is bringing the new Megane R.S. to Zurich. The 4Control all-wheel steering, the choice of sport or Cup suspension and a look with elements from Formula 1 are just some of the highlights with which the compact sports car is to set new accents. It will be available to order in Switzerland from December. Two other models also show how sporty you can be on the road with Renault: The Twingo GT EDC and the equally spacious and sporty Megane Grandtour GT 205 EDC.
Crossover, SUV and pickup
The Alaskan pickup with a payload of up to one ton comes with two turbodiesel variants (160 hp and 190 hp), six-speed manual transmission or seven-speed automatic, front-wheel or 4×4 drive. With the Captur, the Scenic Initiale Paris, the Grand Scenic, the Kadjar as well as the Koleos, Renault is also demonstrating its presence in the crossover and SUV segment.
Electrically mobile
Another of Renault's strengths is "electromobility". At Auto Zürich, visitors can admire the ZOE 90th Anniversary R90 Z.E. 40, an exclusive version of Europe's best-selling electric vehicle - with a range of up to 400 kilometers (according to NEDC) suitable for everyday use. Right next to the ZOE is the urban electric vehicle par excellence, the Twizy Z.E. in the version up to 80 km/h.
Formula 1 and Formula E
As one of the few vehicle manufacturers, Renault competes in the two top classes of Formula racing; with its own factory team in FIA Formula 1 and with the Renault e.dams - Team in FIA Formula E. Next to the vehicle of the e.dams Team (Hall 5), visitors can already dream of the ePrix Zurich.A foretaste of the electrifying power of Formula E is provided by two simulators, on which visitors can test their talent on an ePrix track.
