Tarraco
The Tarraco has a sporty look, the striking radiator grille is part of the new brand design

With a length of 4.74 meters, the Tarraco surpasses its VW Tiguan and Skoda Kodiac brothers. As a five-seater, the Tarraco scores with 760 liters of trunk space. If you opt for the optional seven seats, the trunk shrinks to a modest 230 liters with full seating. If you then fold down the rearmost row of seats, it's still 700 liters.

Prices start from 36 250 francs
The model range starts with the 1.5-liter TSI with 150 hp, 6-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive (36,250 francs). The 190 hp TSI offers 7-speed DSG and all-wheel drive (4Drive); its price is not yet fixed. The diesels have 2.0-liter displacement. The 150-hp version is offered with front-wheel drive and 6-speed manual or all-wheel drive and 7-speed DSG, while the 190-hp top model is offered exclusively with 4Drive and DSG. The top diesel costs from 47,550 Swiss francs.

Mix of sportiness and comfort
The 190 hp gasoline engine is a pleasant cruiser that is quiet and soft, especially at country road and Swiss highway speeds. Nominally equally powerful, the diesel makes a more powerful and confident impression and feels a touch more biting thanks to its higher torque (400 Nm versus 320 Nm for the gasoline engine). Seat's chassis engineers have managed a good mix of sportiness and comfort.
The seating position is pleasantly high and provides a good overview, all controls are easily accessible. The seats are comfortable, materials and workmanship make a good impression.
