Rinspeeed: MetroSnap premiere in Las Vergas 🎥

Rinspeed's 26th concept car was again designed and implemented at Esoro.

By separating vehicle components, Rinspeed aims to address the increasingly prominent life cycles of hardware and software, demonstrating a sustainable basis for transporting people and goods.

Problems and issues

Pod and skateboard distribution
Thanks to the distribution of the batteries between the "pod" (body) and the "skateboard" (chassis), the vehicle no longer needs to be parked for charging. The charging process takes place elegantly and time-efficiently while cleaning or loading the "pod".

Innovative transport solutions
The "MetroSnap" concept is intended to merge smart city, supply chain and passenger transportation. "Customer Focus" is Rinspeed's motto for next year.
The customer - and therefore the human being - is the focus. Frank M. Rinderknecht: "People want more and more convenience and simplicity in their lives, and we want to make this possible through our innovative transport solutions."

European premiere in Barcelona
The "MetroSnap" will celebrate its world premiere on January 7, 2020 at CES at Osram booth 8516 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center Tech East. In spring 2020, the "MetroSnap" will then be on display at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (February 24 to 27) and at the Geneva Motor Show (March 5 to 15).
