The Polestar Precept looks like a sports car with a striking futuristic design.

The study's conventional side mirrors are replaced by cameras, and the interior mirror also gives way to a digital screen including a wide-angle camera at the rear of the vehicle. By dispensing with a rear window, the glass roof of the Polestar Precept extends to behind the rear seats.

Facings inside flax
In its choice of materials, Polestar focuses on sustainability. Bcomp's composites for interior trim and backrests, which are made from flax, offer improvements over conventional materials. These include a weight saving of up to 50 percent and a reduction in plastic waste of up to 80 percent.

The seats are 3D knitted from recycled PET bottles, the cushions and headrests are made from recycled cork vinyl, while the carpets are made from recycled fishing nets.

Improved usability
The next generation Android-based infotainment system was developed by Polestar with Google. An enlarged 15-inch touchscreen in the center complements the 12.5-inch driver display.

Eye tracking detects the driver's gaze and controls the content of the various screens accordingly. Proximity sensors enhance the user experience. The signature Polestar emblem floats in a solid piece of Swedish crystal between the rear headrests.
