The Opel Combo-e Cargo electric van offers plenty of space and, with its 100 kW electric motor and 50 kWh battery, good acceleration and a long range.
The load volume is 4.40 cubic meters, the payload 800 kilograms. Depending on the driving profile, outside temperature and usage, the Combo-e can drive up to 275 kilometers on one battery charge. If electricity needs to be recharged, the battery can be charged up to 80 percent in around 30 minutes at a public fast-charging station.
With two cameras rear area under control
The range of assistance systems includes drowsiness and traffic sign recognition, front collision warning with automatic hazard braking and pedestrian detection, and a rearview camera. With a system of two cameras, Combo-e drivers always keep an eye on the area behind the vehicle and, when turning right, on the normally blind spot on the passenger side.
The 4.40-meter-long Combo-e Cargo has a wheelbase of 2.79 meters and can transport objects up to 3.09 meters long. In addition, the Stromer can handle a towing load of up to 750 kilograms.
The Combo-e XL variant is 4.75 meters long and has a wheelbase of 2.98 meters. It is available with a crew cab on request.
All-electric Movano coming at the end of the year
The Combo-e Cargo will be rolling into dealerships from the end of the year and, after the Vivaro-e which is already available, represents the latest addition to Opel's range of all-electric light commercial vehicles. Another e-model, the new Movano-e, will also arrive this year.
