Geneva 2018: Partner becomes Rifter

FOLLOWER Rifter is the name of the successor to the Partner, which Peugeot will present at the Geneva Motor Show (March 8-18 at Palexpo). A model perfect for large families or vans. Like the identical Opel Combo Life, the new high-roof station wagon will be available in two length versions. SUV attributes on the body are intended to give the family car a more rugged feel. [...]

The five-seater version of the Peugeot Rifter measures 4.45 meters, while the seven-seater is 4.75 meters long. The trapezoidal radiator grille is reminiscent of Peugeot 308 and co.
The French have relocated the passenger airbag in the Rifter to the headliner, so that there is enough room for a large air-conditioned glove compartment at the front.

Like the identical Opel Combo Life, the new high-roof station wagon will be available in two length versions. SUV attributes on the body are intended to give the family car a more robust feel. Advanced Grip Control, Hill Descent Control and all-wheel drive are available as options.

Also envisaged is a high-quality GT line
The eight-inch touchscreen with 3D navigation sits on the dashboard above the center console. And of course obligatory: the small flattened Peugeot steering wheel. Above it, depending on the variant, is a color head-up display. It is not yet clear which equipment lines will be available in the Rifter. In any case, the high-quality but expensive GT Line is included.

Stowage volume up to 4000 liters for transports
The Peugeot Rifter will be available with two gasoline and three diesel engines and up to seven seats. The maximum storage capacity will be 4000 liters. Market launch is in September. Swiss prices have not yet been set.
