Genesis: The X brings the summer ๐ฅ
FUTURE The four-seater Genesis X Convertible concept car completes a trio of design studies reflecting the brand's commitment to electric mobility and sustainable luxury.
Presented in California as a world premiere in time for next summer, the X Convertible convertible study from Genesis shares architecture and electric drive with the two concept cars X Concept and X Speedium Coupรฉ.
As the latest evolution of the Athletic Elegance design language, the study provides a preview of the look of future electric vehicles from the Hyundai Group's luxury brand.

Special paint means nobility and brightness
The four-seat Genesis X Convertible features a folding hardtop roof with glass panels. The long hood, short front overhang and long wheelbase define the characteristic proportions of the new design language, and the LED quad headlights characterize the brand's typical two-line design.
At the rear, the concave shape of the tailgate with integrated spoiler catches the eye. The quad taillights are reminiscent of the lights on the other two studies, while the wheels again feature the G-Matrix pattern. The special paint finish of the X Convertible Concept is called Crane White and stands for nobility and sanctity in Korea.
Sporty and emotional facet of the design
The interior is inspired by the architecture of traditional Korean roofs. The Giwa Navy and Dancheong Orange colors provide a modern look that is intended to harmonize with the character of the vehicle.
Chief designer Luc Donckerwolke: "With the concept trio, we are strengthening the sporty and emotional facet of our design philosophy. Electric drives give us the opportunity to enjoy nature - and that works even better with convertibles than with any other vehicle."
