The brand's first purely electric model is based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. These include, for example, a head-up display with augmented reality function and a connectivity and infotainment system with a 12-inch screen.
With its sports bucket seats and new steering wheel with Cupra mode and driving profile buttons, Cupra's el-Born emphasizes the car's sporty credentials.
From zero to 50 km/h in 2.9 seconds
The Cupra el-Born's performance and dynamics were central to the development of the vehicle, which offers acceleration from zero to 50 km/h in 2.9 seconds, according to the factory.
Dynamic Chassis Control Sport was developed exclusively for the Cupra el-Born. It combines the vehicle's sporty ride height with a system that automatically adapts to all conditions and enables a high level of driving dynamics.

Up to 500 kilometers with one charge
With its highly efficient 77-kWh battery, the Cupra el-Born will be able to travel up to 500 kilometers on a single charge.
Thanks to its fast-charging capability, the Cupra el-Born is said to be able to absorb the energy needed for at least 260 kilometers in 30 minutes.
