Hatta is an exclave of the Emirate of Dubai located about 100 kilometers southeast of the city in the Hajar Mountains on the border with Oman. For sports car drivers, the region is a paradise: Curves as far as the eye can see. Ideal terrain, therefore, for test driver Andy Wallace and the new Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport.

Eye-catcher with carbon and Molsheim yellow
The specialties of the Chiron Pur Sport include uncompromising lateral dynamic properties. Maximum agility, perfect handling and outstanding driving performance.

Andy Wallace's vehicle also has a special color scheme. While the entire lower part of the vehicle is finished in black visible carbon, a yellow color dominates above it.

In the side view, the dark surfaces blend in with the road and give the Pur Sport an even flatter and more dynamic appearance. Black tones also dominate the rear wing, wheels, radiator and front air intakes.

8-liter W16 engine with a massive 1600 Nm
The 8-liter W16 engine with its 1,600 Nm and 1,500 hp and a transmission that is 15 percent shorter make the acceleration orgy complete. From 0 to 100 km/h takes just 2.3 seconds, and from 0 to 200 a quick 5.9 seconds.

The car also accelerates from 60 to 120 km/h in 4.4 seconds in sixth gear, significantly faster than the base Chiron. The top speed is electronically limited at 350 km/h.

The production version of the Chiron Pur Sport, which is limited to 60 units and costs three million euros, has been built in Molsheim, France, since fall 2020.
