Audi A3: Despite barely changed dimensions - 4.24 meters in length and 2.60 meters wheelbase - the new model looks even sportier than before.

The A3 is available as a three-door, Sportback, sedan and cabriolet. The sporty Audi S3 variant also boasts numerous innovations. The engine range comprises six units, three gasoline and three diesel engines. Their output ranges from 110 hp to 190 hp. All models meet the EU6 standard. With the 1.0 TFSI, Audi is offering a three-cylinder engine in the A3 range for the first time. The compact engine produces 115 hp. A technical highlight is the completely newly developed 2.0 TFSI with its innovative combustion process. It produces 190 hp from a displacement of 1984 cm3. The new entry-level diesel is the 1.6 TDI with 110 hp.

Alternative drives as plug-in hybrid or with natural gas
The plug-in hybrid variant, the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron, combines a 1.4 TFSI that produces 150 hp with an electric motor that produces 75 kW. The system output of 204 hp enables sporty driving performance. With the A3 Sportback g-tron, Audi offers another drive alternative: the compact five-door model can use fossil natural gas as well as Audi e-gas, which is produced in a virtually climate-neutral manner, as fuel. With the 1.4 TFSI, which produces 110 hp, the A3 Sportback g-tron sets standards in terms of efficiency and economy. Fuel costs for the customer are in the region of four francs per 100 kilometers. Thanks to the bivalent design of the four-cylinder engine, the range on gas is more than 400 kilometers, with gasoline adding up to 900 kilometers.
