Large air intakes of the model flank the octagonal single frame. The headlights with a striking daytime running light signature shine with LED technology. The steeply raked rear window and the visually raised bumpers give the Q5 Sportback a dynamic appearance.
Luggage compartment holds up to 1480 liters
At 4.69 meters, the Q5 Sportback is seven millimeters longer than its sister model. The long wheelbase of 2.82 meters ensures plenty of space on board. The luggage compartment measures 510 liters; with the rear seat backrests folded, it is 1480 liters with a roof-high load.
As an option, Audi equips the new family member with the rear bench seat plus, which can be moved longitudinally and the angle of the backrests can be adjusted.
Firmer suspension and damping
With its 204-hp 2.0 TDI engine, the Four Rings can tow a trailer weighing up to 2.4 tons (braked, at a twelve percent gradient). A hill descent assistant is on board for negotiating steep passages in hilly terrain.
The sport suspension offers more direct road contact than the steel spring suspension on the Q5 thanks to firmer suspension and damping. Ground clearance can be increased by up to 45 millimeters for driving on unpaved roads.

Technology from the revised Q5
In terms of operation, display and infotainment, the Q5 Sportback adopts the new technology of the revised Q5, the third-generation Modular Infotainment System.
The full equipment package includes the display-based Audi virtual cockpit plus with a 12.3-inch diagonal and a head-up display.
The multifunction leather steering wheel plus is used for simple and safe operation of important functions. The MMI navigation plus infotainment system is coupled with a 10.1-inch display.
The Audi Q5 Sportback rolls off the production line at the San José Chiapa plant in Mexico and will arrive in Switzerland in the first half of 2021.
