German Mike Halder drove a Seat Leon entered by Wolf-Power Racing from Wangen SZ to the runner-up title in the 2017 ADAC TCR Germany. A great success for the small, efficient team, which it intends to build on in 2018.
This is what the team led by brothers Adrian and Raphael Wolf hopes to achieve with the acquisition of two Renault Mégane TCRs. The cars were built in a small series at Vukovich Motorsport in St. Margrethen. The tuning of the 350-hp 1800cc Renault turbocharged engines is the responsibility of the renowned Liechtenstein tuner Lehmann.
"I am both enthusiastic about the meticulous technical work of Milenko Vukovich and convinced that the Renault with a Lehmann engine under the hood will be competitive right away," says Adrian Wolf, explaining this move. The close cooperation with Bosch Motorsport on the electronic side also promises success.
Renault is the youngest brand in the ever-growing circle of TCR brands. Who will be at the wheel is still undetermined. From 2018, there will even be an FIA World Cup (WTCR) with these cars instead of the previous WTCC and TCR International Series.

Oliver Holdener starts with Seat Leon from Wolf
The Seat Leon TCR previously driven by Briton Alex Morgan will be entrusted to Oliver Holdener. Although financing for the entire season has not yet been secured, the winner of this year's "AutoScout24 Young Driver Challenge powered by Seat" is working flat out on it.
As an employee at Wolf Power GmbH, the 21-year-old Bennauer can contribute a lot of his own work, which, together with the 50,000 francs in funding from AutoScout24 and Seat Switzerland, only covers part of the budget. Adrian Wolf, however, is convinced of Holdener's abilities: "I wouldn't have thought he could do so well in the midfield in his first and only race. Now we want to get him to the top."
