Motorsport: Countdown for Emil Frey Racing
In two weeks' time, on July 30 and 31, the 24 Hours of Spa will get underway in Belgium. For Emil Frey Racing, this will be the biggest race in the company's history to date. AutoSprintCH will report on it exclusively in the live ticker on the homepage around the clock. A day has to [...] for Lorenz Frey at the moment.

A day has too few hours for Lorenz Frey at the moment. At the moment, the team boss of Emil Frey Racing is in the middle of intensive preparations for his team's most important weekend to date. For the first time, the team from Safenwil is fielding not one but two Emil Frey Jaguar G3s in a race for the Blancpain GT Series endurance championship.
Function test with second car in the south of France
The second car was completed at the beginning of July and underwent extensive functional testing in southern France on Thursday this week. The second driver team with Jonathan Hirschi, Christian Klien and Markus Palttala were able to get used to their new sports equipment. Hirschi was already a driver in 2014, while the former GP driver from Vorarlberg and the fast Finn are newcomers.

Focus on testing different strategies
The number 1 team with Lorenz Frey, Stéphane Ortelli and Albert Costa has already familiarized itself with the GP circuit in Belgium at the official test day on July 5 in Spa with its proven entry car. "Unfortunately, the weather was quite changeable," Lorenz Frey regrets. "But we were still able to try out various strategies. We focused on long distances and the associated tire wear and didn't go for performance. We've also already run in the brakes so that we won't have to do this again on the race weekend."
AutoSprintCH reports around the clock from Spa
AutoSprintCH will report in detail on its homepage about the largest ever entry of a purely Swiss team in the 24 Hours of Spa. As with the 24 Hours of Nürburgring and 24 Hours of Le Mans, we will be providing round-the-clock coverage of the race in our live ticker. The focus is on the Emil Frey Racing Team, but we are also keeping an eye on all the other Swiss teams and drivers. Among them, Nico Müller in the Audi R8 LMS is one of the favorites for overall victory. Last year, the driver from Bern won the marathon at the Nürburgring and finished second in Belgium.
