How do you travel faster - in a rally car with over 300 hp and four-wheel drive or on a mountain bike? The two Spaniards Dani Sordo and Andreu Lacondeguy wanted to find out and fought a spectacular downhill duel with completely different vehicles.
The Lousã mountain is located in the heart of Portugal and was part of a special stage at the Portuguese WRC race in previous years. A mountain bike trail runs parallel to and partly over the rally route.
And who won the duel? Rally driver Dani Sordo or freerider Andreu Lacondeguy?
