Jenson Team Rocket RJN will field a Honda NSX GT3 Evo in the five Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup races. The primary goal, in addition to good placings in the overall standings, is to win the Silver Cup for drivers with FIA Silver classification. The Thurgau native's teammates are Britons Struan Moore and Matt McMurry.
Philipp Frommenwiler: "For me, this is a great challenge. The team has been active in GT racing for a long time and can look back on many successes. Their experience is hugely important in such a high-profile field as the Endurance Cup. Together we can certainly achieve a lot."
Partnership with an ex-world champion
RJN Motorsport can look back on over 20 years of experience in motorsport - from touring cars to GT racing and rallying. In the Blancpain GT Series, the Brits have already won team and driver titles with GT3 and GT4 cars. Since this year, RJN Motorsport has been working with Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button. Together they founded the Jenson Team Rocket RJN.

The 29-year-old from Thurgau knows the racing series from the 24 Hours of Spa, and the Honda from starts in the 2018 ADAC GT Masters. In Jenson Team Rocket RJN, the drivers receive the latest evolutionary stage of the NSX GT3. The fact that the new model is fast was recently proven by the best qualifying time of a Honda driver at the 8 Hours of California, the second round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge at Laguna Seca.
Philipp Frommenwiler showed in 2017 that he can win GT3 races. With Emil Frey Lexus Racing and Spain's Albert Costa as his partner, he won four International GT Open races and remained in the title race until the very end.
Battle of the Swiss silver riders
The Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup kicks off in Monza from April 12 to 14. Frommenwiler's opponents in the Silver Cup will include compatriots Kris Richard and Lucas Mauron in two different Lamborghini Huracan cars.
All races can be followed in livestream on the official website.
