The Trollensee Zweisimmen is a popular destination in the Bernese Oberland. It is not surprising that host Daniel Müller has always attached importance to guests from the classic car and motorcycle world. His father was Herbert Müller, known as "Stumpen-Herbie", who was famous in European motor racing circles. He was killed in an accident at the Nürburgring in 1981.
His son later drove in Formula 3 for several years. Today, he loves and collects classic cars, is a motorcycle fan and enjoys life to the fullest. He invites all owners of vintage cars and motorcycles and other motor sports enthusiasts to the traditional Whitsun meeting.
There will be a small exhibition about Herbert Müller and Heini Walter (who is currently also the subject of a one-year special exhibition in the museum of his home town of Aesch BL, see AutoSprintCH of May). Visitors can browse through books and look at photos, admire model cars and engage in petrol talks with like-minded people.

As a special exhibit, a Porsche 906 is brought to the idyllic Trollensee in the Simmental. Herbert Müller won the legendary Targa Florio in Sicily in 1966 with a sports car of the same type. A success he repeated in 1973 with a factory-entered Porsche 911 Carrera RSR.
The meeting begins at 10 am. Pre-registration is not necessary, unless you want to feast on the rich Sunday buffet. Otherwise, Daniel Müller and his kitchen team will be waiting with a menu of the day, an entertainment program and lots of good humor without any time constraints.
