From the point of view of 30-year-old motorcycle racing pro Dominique Aegerter, the first test of strength for electric bikers this year at the Circuit of Jerez in Andalusia went according to plan. In stable weather with good conditions, the man from Rohrbach and his German Dynavolt Intact GP team consistently mixed at the top of the hard-fought competition.

Kontant fast
After setting the fastest time of the day on Tuesday and being fastest in the final session, Aegerter eventually finished second in the combined timesheet. Last year's overall third-placed rider is accordingly looking forward with confidence to the FIM MotoE™ World Cup, which starts at the beginning of May.

Dominique Aegerter: "I'm very happy with our performance in general on this test. Finishing the test in second place, i.e. being the first loser, annoys me a little. But we were very strong from the start and consistently fast in every session. That puts me in a very positive mood. But the competition is incredibly close."

Spring camp in Spain
After this positive start to the test season, he will also spend the next few weeks in Spain and continue his training schedule in optimum conditions. Further testing will take place in April.
