The ten finalists are still close together in this short video sequence.
Already for the 23rd time, the popular ACS Kart Cup took place at the kart track Fimmelsberg. Once again, the ACS Thurgau was pleased about a great event and a full field of participants.
In the five groups, the aim was to secure an optimum starting position for the preliminary race with a fast lap in the time trial. The top twenty riders then competed against each other in the two semi-final races in order to decide the coveted ten final starting places among themselves. The other rankings were determined in four consolation races.

Duel behind the superior winner
In the final, Ronald Lörincz from Radolfzell celebrated a superior start-finish victory. After 30 laps, he was 11.57 seconds ahead of runner-up Christoph Zwahlen from Pfyn. With his 31.33 seconds, winner Lörincz was also pleased with the best lap time of the day. Third place went to Kevin Manz from Wigolting.
Zwahlen and Manz fought an exciting, tough but extremely fair duel throughout the final race, which the Thurgau native, who is best known from slalom and mountain races, won by 0.17 seconds.
Isabelle Schürch achieved a remarkable result. As the only woman in the field, the Müllheim native finished in ninth place.
