McLaren continues to step on the gas in Switzerland. The elegant British super sports cars are very popular in this country, with 39 sold last year and ten new British cars rolling onto Swiss roads this year with the five McLaren 750S, four McLaren Artura and one McLaren GTS. They all now have a new home, namely at Alpenstrasse 3 in Opfikon ZH. This is McLaren's new location in Zurich. The showroom offers an impressive 455 square meters of presentation space and the adjacent workshop, which opened in March 2025 and covers an area of 613 square meters, meets the latest technical standards. This opens up completely new perspectives in terms of customer care, service quality and operational efficiency.

"The opening of McLaren Zurich marks an exciting milestone for our brand in Switzerland," says Matthew Boguradzki, Regional Director Europe, Middle East, India & Africa at McLaren Automotive Ltd. "By seamlessly combining the showroom, studio and workshop under one state-of-the-art roof, the McLaren Zurich team has created an exceptional space that enriches every customer interaction. Their genuine passion for the brand sets consistently high standards - and this new facility allows them to raise those standards even further."

Iconic vehicles in a new light
To celebrate this milestone, McLaren Zurich is presenting an exclusive selection of legendary McLaren models at the end of April - from classics such as the 12C, the McLaren P1 and the Senna GTR to current super sports cars such as the Artura Spider, the 750S Spider and the GTS. The aim is to bring the entire spectrum of the brand's model history to life in an impressive way - for enthusiasts and guests alike.

The new location is the result of over a year of renovations. After temporarily relocating to an interim building in April 2024, a comprehensive modernization began. The showroom was able to move into the first part of the new building in October 2024. Now that all the work has been completed, the new McLaren hotspot in Zurich is officially ready for the future.

A year of transformation and recognition
Alongside the refurbishment, McLaren Zurich was recognized as one of the world's best McLaren dealers in early 2024. As one of only four finalists in the EMEIA region, the team was accepted into the prestigious "McLaren Premier Club" and competed for the title of "McLaren Global Retailer of the Year 2023". This annual award recognizes excellence in sales, service and customer satisfaction within the global McLaren dealer network. It will be interesting to see where the team led by Roderick Pike, General Manager of McLaren Zurich, can place in the next award with the new premises and facilities in Opfikon.

"This opening is a proud moment for our entire team. The new facility allows us to bring our passion for McLaren to life in a more immersive, personal and intimate way than ever before," explained Roderick Pike at the opening. "We have created a space that is not just for showcasing exceptional cars, but also for creating exceptional experiences."
