Bugatti: Quality comes first
THE WATCH TO THE CAR Bugatti has unveiled the new model of digital smartwatches created in collaboration with Viita Watches. The Carbone Limited Edition is the first with a case made entirely of carbon.
Carbon is an essential part of Bugatti's design. The light, dense and extremely strong material is used in the monocoque and bodywork of all Bugatti models. The use of this material for the Carbone Limited Edition smartwatch now creates a link to the brand's hyper sports cars.
Use of innovative technologies
Wiebke Stahl, Managing Director at Bugatti International: "At Bugatti, the use of innovative technologies and materials is just as important as appearance, usability and reliability. The Carbone Limited Edition Smartwatch combines all of these."
The battery power has been increased by 22 percent to 540 mAh compared to the first model. Despite the larger battery, the overall weight has been reduced by 13 percent thanks to the lightweight materials.
Track times and acceleration
Owners of this watch can take it to the track to automatically record track times and acceleration data. A dual sensor measures both heart rate and heart rate variability and can thus provide wearers with individual health data. Basic functions like pedometer and sleep monitoring are also integrated.
Limited edition of 2500 copies
The Bugatti Carbone Limited Edition is water resistant to 100 meters and has a sapphire crystal touchscreen. The watch comes with two straps, and buyers can choose to wear it with a gray or black silicone strap.
As proof of the quality of the Bugatti smartwatch, there is a five-year warranty. Only 2500 of the watch will be manufactured, and the first 500 will be delivered as early as December. Price: 2590 euros.
