Classic: Swiss racing successes in Dijon
Swiss Historic Racers ensured success at the 52nd Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or in Dijon. For some, it was good training before the upcoming season highlight, the Le Mans Classic in July. One of the largest international events still held on the former GP circuit of Dijon in Burgundy is the Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or for historic racing cars. Many of the 280 cars in nine racing fields were driven in excellent fashion by Swiss drivers, a fact that delighted many of their compatriots among the roughly 14,000 spectators.

At the third meeting of the Classic Endurance Racing Series of the Peter Auto agency from Paris, which also organizes the Le Mans Classic every two years (the next one from July 8 to 10, 2016), Philipp Brühwiler celebrated a big victory with his Chevron B19. At the Spa Classic, he had to admit defeat to the Briton Martin O'Connell in an identical two-liter sports car, but now he relegated him and four larger-displacement Lola T70s to the places behind him.

Christian Traber succeeds in dress rehearsal for Le Mans
In the field of former Le Mans sports cars up to 1981, Didier Guenat in the Lola T286 finished second and Yves Scemama in the TOJ SC304 third behind O'Connell in a Chevron B23. Christian Traber took the GT victory in his BMW M1 Procar. Yves Scemama then landed an overall victory in the touring cars of the 1970s and early 1980s at the wheel of his Ford Capri 2600 RS. After both races of the pre-war racing cars, Christian Traber let himself be crowned the winner once again. With his Talbot-Lago ex Monoplace décalée from 1939, the fast boss of Sportgarage Graber in Toffen is also considered the top favorite to triumph in Le Mans in the oldest sports cars with LM history.
