Classic: Remembrance of two racing icons
Still nothing planned for Whitsunday? For the fourth time, a classic car meeting will take place on May 15 at Forellensee in Simmental. They were two Swiss icons in endurance racing, drove as works drivers for Porsche and celebrated numerous great victories. Unfortunately, Jo Siffert lost his life in October 1971 during a Formula 1 race at Brands Hatch (GB), and Herbert Müller had a fatal accident in May 1981 during the 1000 km race at the Nürburgring (D). Daniel Müller, the son of "Stumpen-Herbie", has been running a restaurant at Forellensee in Zweisimmen with his life partner for four years and invites to a meeting in memory of these two great racing drivers on Whitsunday.

Model cars, memorabilia, photos, pictures and movies
In addition to Daniel Müller, Jo Siffert's son Philippe will also be present. All brands of any age are welcome. The only commonality should be an interest in Swiss racing history. To refresh the memories of Müller and Siffert, there will be a small exhibition. Model cars, memorabilia, photos, pictures and films will be on display. Many paraphernalia come from the private collections of the two sons. Philippe Siffert will also exhibit his collection of Jo Siffert Swiss Watches and offer them for sale. It goes without saying that this will be combined with culinary delights in the lakeside restaurant. Daniel Müller: "I recommend that brunch guests make reservations early; otherwise they won't make the starting lineup."
