BERGRENNEN REITNAU Spectators at the second round of the Swiss Hill Climb Championship will be treated to a special motorsport show during the breaks next Sunday, July 2. In addition to four national drifters, a star from Latvia will be coming to Reitnau with his 1000 hp car. 1

SWISS SPORT At the seventh round of the slalom championships in Chamblon, the day's winner Philip Egli (pictured) and Martin Bürki showed impressive form in their categories. The battle for the medal positions behind the defending champion is slowly coming to a head. 1

RALLYE The Italian Andrea Crugnola was the fastest driver at the Rally Ronde del Ticino, but his WRC colleague Kevin Gilardoni took the overall victory, as in 2016. Ivan Ballinari won the Swiss classification for the first time with the Ford Fiesta R5 (photo). 1

LONG-DISTANCE RACING On Saturday evening, Emil Frey Racing will take part in the 1000 km race at Paul Ricard with its two GT3 Jaguars. The team from Safenwil has prepared better than ever for this and the following championship race - the 24 Hours of Spa. 1

YOUNG DRIVER CHALLENGE On Monday at the Cupra Race Days in Alsace, the three finalists from the last ten candidates were selected for the young driver promotion program launched by AutoScout24 and Seat Switzerland. They will soon be competing in their first car race. 1

BERGRENNEN REITNAU The popular event on July 2 has a record field of participants. Never before have so many large racing sports cars been entered. The ACS hill climb counts as the second round of the 2017 Swiss Hill Climb Championship.

24 HOURS LE MANS Toyota also failed at the 19th attempt and Porsche won for the 19th time despite a one-hour repair stop. After four hours, the overall winners were no longer on anyone's radar. The three stars Buemi, Jani and Fässler had little reason to be happy. 1

24 HOURS LE MANS Toyota (with Sébastien Buemi) will start from the front row on Saturday at 3pm, Porsche (with Neel Jani) from the second row. This does not mean anything for the race. The decisive factor could be the heat expected for the weekend. 1

SLALOM While title favorite Martin Bürki was once again the lone leader in the touring car category, three of the four best race car drivers fought a great battle for the day's victory in Romont. This went to Marcel Maurer from Bern for the third time this season. 1
