KART-SM The 2017 autobau Swiss Karting Championship ends in Lignières on Sunday, with the champion only decided in one of five classes. Drivers and spectators (with free admission!) can therefore look forward to 15 exciting races. 1

FORMULA E The efforts of the e-mobil Zürich association, the Zurich ePrix OC and Bank Julius Baer as the Swiss Global Sponsor of the electric racing series are bearing fruit. The FIA World Motor Sport Council has added the Zurich race to the calendar for June 10, 2018. 1

TOURING CARS Last weekend, the second finalist in the "AutoScout24 Young Driver Challenge powered by Seat" completed his first touring car race in the ADAC TCR Germany. Oliver Holdener (20) even amazed the experts. 1

MOTORSPORT Nico Müller became the first Swiss driver to score points in the World Rallycross Championship in Latvia in only his second outing. Meanwhile, his Audi colleague Marcel Fässler narrowly missed out on the title in the Blancpain GT Sprint series. 1

MOUNTAIN RACING Because his last title rival did not compete, Frédéric Neff (pictured) was already crowned 2017 Touring Car Hillclimb Champion before the start of training for the final race at Châtel-St-Denis-Les Paccots. Joël Grand in the two-liter race car emerged as the surprising winner of the day in changeable weather conditions. 1

GT-SPORT This weekend, Emil Frey Racing will be competing in a Blancpain GT Series sprint race for the first time with the Lexus GT3 at the Nürburgring. And Marcel Fässler will start in the Audi R8 with very good title chances after his race wins in the last race in Hungary. The races can be watched in the livestream. 1

MOUNTAIN RACING GURNIGEL Rolf Reding also won the fourth race of the new Swiss Junior Mountain Championship. Three-time runner-up Lukas Eugster had to be distanced by Benjamin Devaud by only two hundredths in the final race. 1

BERGRENNEN GURNIGEL The decision at the 48th Gurnigel hill climb was narrowly in favor of Eric Berguerand. Instead, Marcel Steiner secured the championship title for racing sports cars ahead of time on his home mountain.   1

BERGRENNEN GURNIGEL Some of the sportiest models from Opel's history are on display in a special rolling show at the Gurnigel hill climb. One rarity is the "Black Widow" (pictured). Special guests are Fritz Erb, who still holds a track record, and Christoph Zwahlen with his completely new Kadett. 1

MOUNTAIN RACING After the disastrous outcome of the Oberhallau hill climb, Swiss motorsport must somehow find its way back to normality. Ideally, Marcel Steiner could already secure the championship title at Gurnigel next weekend. 1
